2. Seth Rollins
WWE.comOne of the workhorses of today's WWE, Rollins is a great wrestler who plied his craft in Ring of Honor, a company that has produced the likes of CM Punk, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe. There, he won their heavyweight championship and earned the reputation as one of the best young workers in the business. As a member of Vince McMahon's company, Rollins has backed that reputation up, delivering show-stealing performances as both a member of The Shield and a singles heel, a role he finds himself thriving in today. The new Money in the Bank briefcase winner, Rollins figures to hold plenty of gold before his career in WWE comes to an end. With that said, Rollins has yet to pick up that one truly defining singles victory in the company. Sure, he has has beaten former world champions such as Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam but neither of those men are at the level they were when they won those titles. Chris Jericho, on the other hand, never allowed himself to become an afterthought in WWE. He has consistently understood when the best time to step aside was so that he could retain respect and star power rather than allowing himself to be caught up in the deep, dark abyss known as the WWE midcard. Now generating buzz and excitement thanks to his recent return, he would be the perfect candidate to put Rollins over and really establish him as a main event heel. That it would almost assuredly lead to interactions with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would be icing on the cake.
