The Rock at WrestleMania is one of the things WWE have been pushing hardest... despite the fact that no clear WrestleMania match is forthcoming for The Great One. Indeed, it is looking very likely that he won't even have a bout, due to a range of insurance and film commitments. Instead he'll just make an appearance on the show. Yet the company are going to push the hell out of him any way, believing he's their best shot to attract attention to the event. Which in fairness, given his mainstream popularity, is true. A non-wrestling Rock in a main character role is probably a bigger attraction than any of the active wrestlers. It is a sad reflection of WWE's inability to make stars. The way WWE are pushing him, some casual fans probably believe he will be wrestling on the show. But as things stand right now, there's no obvious match.
