This is one of the key area in which WWE are going to take a knock without Cena. A weaker Survivor Series means weaker WWE Network numbers. That means less money for WWE. Cena is one of the key attractions for signing up to the WWE Network. He as much as anyone is the face of the product. In the mainstream / casual fans, large numbers of people are motivated to watch shows dependent on what he'll be doing. With him not featuring in November, the temptation will be to cancel the subscription and then re-buy for when he's back. Any drop in Network subscriptions at this point would be disastrous, as WWE are still way below what investors thought they would be at this stage of the Network's life.
