10 Big WWE Salaries That Necessitate A Constant Push

7. Sheamus - $1,000,000

Sheamus is a perfect example of a guy who has been featured as a main eventer for years, despite limited effectiveness when it comes to working in headline roles. It isn't even that he's a bad wrestler, it is more that he is more often than not a bland babyface or one dimensional heel. Yet WWE continued to book him hard from the end of 2009 onwards, right up until present day and his current WWE Title run. There's better heels (Kevin Owens, for one) and there were numerous better babyfaces during his spell as a good guy...so why do WWE continue to feature him near the top of the bill? A one million dollar contract is, of course, the answer. And how did that heavy contract come about? One oft-repeated story is that the Irishman became buddies with Triple H, and that friendship resulted in the million dollar contract coming soon after. They've simply got to feature him heavily in light of that investment.
