10 Biggest Babyfaces Currently In NXT
7. Drew McIntyre
Any returning superstar is pretty much guaranteed to receive a warm welcome. It's more or less the only way to truly guarantee a pop. But instead of reasons of nostalgia, McIntyre's return was greeted with excitement purely because of the potential. Under the name of Drew Galloway, the towering Scotsman has proved his abilities as a wrestler much more in promotions outside the WWE than he ever had within it.
He had to be a face on return not because of the fond memories of his previous run, but because of how amazing he became after it. His return to the company throws up a whole host of potential dream matches. That he would appear on the somewhat humbler brand of NXT rather than jump to the bigger prestige of the main roster is also a move that endears McIntyre to the crowd.
Drew's biggest impact so far has really just been sitting at ringside during TakeOver: Orlando, so it's hard to rank him too highly, but his new story of seeking to prove himself as a credible WWE competitor is naturally compelling, and he's a safe bet to be the man who knocks off Bobby Roode from the top of the mountain. The sky is the limit for the popularity that McIntyre is on the brink of achieving.
