10 Biggest Beneficaries Of WWE Talking Smack

7. AJ Styles

It's amazing to think how far AJ Styles has come on the mic in such as short span of time. Of course, he has always been a phenomenal wrestler, but during his time in TNA, it was evident that his promo skills needed work. In having to talk a lot more upon coming to WWE last year, he improved almost instantly, but he didn't become comfortable speaking until he was drafted to SmackDown Live and had to appear on Talking Smack.

As a heel, Styles was constantly complaining on Talking Smack about not being treated with respect as WWE champion and that Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon were conspiring against him. Those were some of his best promos, but only just recently he has been more laid back on the program with Daniel Bryan in discussing things you wouldn't hear talked about anywhere else on WWE TV.

For example, Bryan called out Styles for being a "flat-earther" not too long ago. The two even pitched an idea for a show entitled "WWE Dads" on the WWE Network. Quite a bit of Styles' rise as a main event player in 2016 can be contributed to his appearances on Talking Smack.
