10 Biggest Contenders To Win WWE Money In The Bank 2016
WrestleMania might not be the last time Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn fight over ladders...
Before WWE get to the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, they have both Payback and Extreme Rules to get through first. A lot can (and will) happen over the next few months, but it doesn't change the fact that the company still require more talent sitting in main event positions.
That's what this particular match is good for.
Post-WrestleMania is always an interesting time in Titan, because it offers the chance for others - away from the established main event part-timers - to elevate their standing in the promotion.
This year is no different, meaning there could be a very interesting new 'Mr. Money In The Bank' in town. Guys like Kevin Owens and AJ Styles would represent interesting choices to win the annual Ladder Match, for example.
Money In The Bank falls on June 19, and there are so many choices to win the bout. Last year it was Sheamus, but that failed to lead to anything truly substantial other than a mediocre transitional WWE Title reign in November/December.
This year needs a more satisfying winner, so let's take a gander at who may be celebrating come the end of Money In The Bank...
10. Neville
The high-flying Englishman took part in the 2015 version of the Money In The Bank match, but he was never a realistic winner.
The likes of Sheamus, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton were all ahead of him in that respect, but there's no reason why this year's event couldn't be a launching point for his top-line aspirations.
Currently, Neville is on the injury list. On the March 14 episode of Monday Night Raw, he suffered a nasty ankle fracture, ensuring he missed WrestleMania 32.
On that event, he was scheduled to take part in another Ladder Match, this time for the WWE Intercontinental Title.
By the time Money In The Bank rolls around, there's a good chance Neville will be back in action. He's an outside bet if anything, but stranger things have happened.
Put it this way; if Damien Sandow can win the vaunted briefcase, so can the spectacular Geordie.
