It's only a matter of time before even the most favoured of heels in WWE go through sticky patches.

Kevin Owens walked into WrestleMania 32 as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, and the belt looked good draped over his shoulder. Owens gave the title credibility, but he didn't leave the show as champ.

Now, he's struggling for space in the glut of mid-to-upper-card talent striving to gain permanent residence in the main event mix. KO has one thing in his favour, in that he's a dynamic piece of talent that will always stand out from the pack if he's allowed.

He's also a believable Money In The Bank winner.

Since debuting on the main roster, Owens has caught on with the core fan base. He's definitely a villain, but people dig the whole 'Prize Fighter' gimmick at the same time.

Owens is also not above being sneaky as a character, which makes him a sound choice to carry around that infamous briefcase, cashing it in at a moments notice.
