10 Biggest Drawing Stars In WCW History

The big names that helped WCW make the big bucks.

WCW was the only professional wrestling promotion in history that actually stood a chance of stopping Vince McMahon€™s juggernaut. With a deep roster that combined charismatic stars and aesthetically-pleasing technicians, some incredibly creative forces behind the scenes, and Ted Turner€™s money, WCW was almost poised to overtake WWE completely, and actually did so for over a year during the Monday Night Wars. However, WCW€™s booking staff made a lot of critical mistakes on how they presented many of their most important wrestlers, and that led to their demise. Their biggest drawing factor was that they were different from WWE; so by trying to become exactly like WWE, they alienated their core audience and closed their doors forever. Others still were draws because they offered something to the American wrestling audience that they couldn€™t find anywhere else. Whatever the case may be, WCW wouldn€™t have been anywhere near as successful as they were without the wrestlers discussed in the pages ahead€
