10 Biggest Dream Matches WWE Can Still Book

6. Sami Zayn Vs. Finn Bálor

Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn should've wrestled each other several times by this point.

Their respective NXT runs overlapped, but Zayn was injured for much of Bálor's rise to prominence, and they were never given the chance to wrestle each other. They were both sent to Raw in the 2016 draft, but the Irishman was consigned to the treatment table after becoming Universal Champion at SummerSlam, and they were split shortly after his return, with Zayn heading to SmackDown in April's Superstar Shake-Up.

Now competing on separate brands, Sami and Finn will be kept apart a while longer, but WWE still have a potential match between the two in the locker. Zayn's newfound heel status makes it even more plausible in the future, and while such a clash would be best suited for a TakeOver main event, the most we can hope for now is a prominent spot on a major pay-per-view.

Bálor's injury means he still has an abundance of big first-time matches to get through. As one of the company's most compelling performers, Sami should be near the top of his list, particularly after the success of his heel turn.
