10 Biggest Game-Changers In Wrestling Right Now

3. Ronda Rousey

Though it has been argued, not unreasonably, that her recent promo work with Nikki Bella has felt needlessly regressive, Ronda Rousey is the most important women's wrestler on the planet at the moment, and it's not even close.

Her fame justifies the immediate monster push. Like her or not, 'Rowdy' is the biggest mainstream star in the company. Forcing her through the same, aura-destroying rigmarole endured by the average wrestler on their way to the top would be pointless, because she isn't the average wrestler. She's a star, and the biggest stars deserve the biggest spotlights.

Rousey's presence in WWE all but ensures the Women's Revolution will keep pushing forward, with her versus Charlotte Flair pitched as an early candidate for WrestleMania 35's main event. This still feels like a long-shot, but it's testament to Ronda's impact that it's even being talked about, and having her around opens doors for anyone fortunate enough to work with her, whether they win or lose.

She won't be here forever, but Ronda will be a vitally important piece of the puzzle for the duration of her run. WWE won't screw this one up.
