10 Biggest Holy Sh*t Moments From NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night 1

2. Genius Of The Skull

Being brutally honest, the NXT Women's Title headliner didn't close the show with a bang. Maybe that's unfair. Raquel Gonzalez' title win (patience) was a nice moment, but the actual match itself couldn't follow some of the crackers from earlier in the night. It was hardly bad though. Like, at all.

Also, Io Shirai's dive was a winner.

You just knew somebody was gonna' jump off that big skull set piece as soon as the curtain dropped to show it off, and Shirai's eyes must've lit up when she spotted that one earlier on during the day. She knew she'd have the chance to work in a show-stealing spot and live up to that 'Genius Of The Sky' nickname.

Her crossbody from atop the skull onto Gonzalez was one of the flashiest bumps of the night. Even more impressively, Io refused to fall feet-first onto Raquel, and instead went all-out to perform a proper crossbody that levelled her challenger.

No pain, no gain.
