That old-school NWA/WCW ramp that NXT used for TakeOver should stay permanently, and not just because of moments like this one. It just looks great, and adds a new layer of individuality to the brand compared to both Raw and SmackDown. WWE should take note of that.

It also lets workers get creative.

Cole was locked in an O'Reilly submission when he leapt forwards (almost into a spinebuster) and plunged both through the set up. That kind of carnage is guaranteed to get a reaction from live fans, and that was the case here. To quote the late and definitely great Pat Patterson, fans inside WWE's Capitol Wrestling Center went positively "banana".

Adam proceeded to bash his way through the side of the ramp so he could pull Kyle from the wreckage. This was a super-sweet spot from start to finish, and it helped them prep for a savage finale around five minutes later.
