Somehow, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar had to try and follow one of the oddest 13-minute interludes in WWE pay-per-view history. They did so by keeping their title match brief and punctuated it with some seriously nifty kick outs.

For example, big Brocky boy powering out of Drew's trusty Claymore Kick early on.

The announcers did a sterling job of putting over the move's threat. "Nobody has ever kicked out of that before", they gasped, before McIntyre tried to land another sizeable Ayrshire boot on his South Dakotan, part-time peer. The shock on Drew's face when Lesnar raised a shoulder and pushed him off was wonderfully captured on camera.

More fun followed when McIntyre kicked out of the F5 a few times and just wouldn't stay down. In less than five minutes, the pair successfully painted the picture of a challenger who wouldn't be denied no matter how many finishers Brock had stored up.
