10 Biggest Holy Sh*t Moments From WWE WrestleMania 37 Night 1

9. The Weather Delay

This, meanwhile, wasn't.

WWE couldn't start WrestleMania's card properly until they got a green light on Tampa's weather. Storms crashed around Raymond James Stadium, but there was a sneaky positive: Michael Cole and Samoa Joe looked positively ridiculous in their ponchos as they stalled for time.

McMahon loves uniqueness, and he got that here. This is the first time that inclement weather has paused a 'Mania supershow - considering WWE has run several supercards in Florida, it's pretty strange that something like this has never happened before. There's an unwanted first for everything, it seems.

Sarah Schreiber, Kevin Patrick, Cole, Joe, Kayla Braxton and the rest of the announce crew deserve one huge pat on the back for keeping things ticking for an uncertain half hour as WWE officials thrashed it out with security staff and other well-meaning power players.

Those ponchos though. Good God.
