Edge and Daniel Bryan are ready for WrestleMania 37.
Both men cut inspired promos on the latest SmackDown. Their respective speeches almost saved the go home episode from being a pre-'Mania flop, but they didn't get the final say. Roman Reigns did - the Universal Champ closed the show by promising to emerge triumphant on Sunday night's pay-per-view.
Solid stuff then, which...couldn't be said for most other parts of the program. WWE ran its tribute to André The Giant here by way of a standard Battle Royal, and the most exciting part about that was seeing some AEW stars get a little screen time on the competition's dime. That was just one of 16 hidden gems from Friday's broadcast.
Other nuances you might've totally missed included one forgotten WWE man getting a brand new look (he hasn't been seen on television since the 9 November 2020 episode of Raw), Michael Cole getting a tag-team's name wrong again, Natalya literally becoming one with the camera lens, Chad Gable taking a painful blow and Seth Rollins running some brilliant propaganda.
Here's everything you probably missed...
