10 Biggest Omissions From WWE Draft List 2016
9. Luke Harper
1195289One man who very much isn’t a part-timer is the Wyatt Family’s
Luke Harper.
He is, however, currently injured having suffered a nasty knee ligament tear on a dark match on Raw back in March. He underwent surgery just a few days later, but with a return not scheduled until sometime between August and October, he’ll obviously be missing the Draft.
That being said, the likes of Neville and Randy Orton are also
currently on the side lines with ankle and shoulder troubles respectively. And like
Brock Lesnar in the previous slide, they’ve been included of the WWE’s Draft
list, so the argument of injured wrestlers not being eligible doesn’t quite
stack up.
The likelihood is that Orton and Neville are much closer to returning—at least, you’d hope so with Orton set to take on Lesnar at SummerSlam.
But still, Harper’s going to need a roster to work on once he’s back to fighting fitness, so he really should have been included in the list of potential draftees.
