For all the talent of the women in the division, the "Divas' Revolution" hasn't gone as planned. Poor usage of the women involved - especially NXT call-ups Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch, as well as former Divas' Champion Paige - has crushed fan interest in their matches. While a heel turn by Charlotte has helped her develop as a character, many fans have felt that the only way to salvage the division is to push Banks, who established herself as the MVP of the NXT Women's division. After months, WWE has finally listened to fans' demands. After scoring a win over Lynch in an exciting match, Divas' Champion Charlotte was confronted by Banks, who was rumored to be nursing an injury. The Orlando crowd erupted for Banks's music, but was let down when she attacked Lynch and seemingly aligned herself with Charlotte. It was all a ruse, though - Banks then attacked Charlotte, putting her in the Banks Statement and forcing the Divas' Champion to tap. The crowd was shocked and elated at the promise of Banks contending for the championship - hopefully, in a program that stretches through Fast Lane and is settled at WrestleMania.
