3. Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode has had the look of a WWE Superstar since the dawn of the millennium, but according to interviews Roode has conducted in the past, creative had nothing for him, yet he was too good for developmental. So, he worked as an enhancement talent on shows such as Velocity before jumping ship to TNA in 2004, where he stayed for a dozen years.

By the time his contract came up earlier this year, it was high time he moved on after accomplishing everything virtually twice over there. WWE was really his only other option because that was where he belonged for so long. Two weeks removed from his release, he appeared in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, creating a massive amount of buzz for both the brand and Bobby Roode.

After months and months of speculation, Roode finally debuted for the promotion this past summer and wrestled his first televised match at TakeOver: Brooklyn against Andrade 'Cien' Almas. From the moment he made his "glorious" entrance, he was an absolute star. Even at 37-years-old, the sky is the limit for him, and he should be in contention for the NXT Championship sooner rather than later.

With Roode being the perfect package for what a superstar should be, is it a stretch to say he will be wrestling on either Raw or SmackDown Live in the new year?
