At the time of writing, Brock Lesnar has held the WWE Universal Championship for 416 days. He won the belt by vanquishing Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 and, since then, has torn apart everyone in his path from Samoa Joe to Braun Strowman and, most recently, Roman Reigns. He is the most feared competitor in WWE today and, due to his status as a rare attraction, every appearance holds a certain mystique.

Just like Bobby Lashley, an enormous amount of Lesnar's appeal in the modern WWE landscape comes from his history as a legitimate MMA fighter. He made the transition from professional wrestling to the Octagon and back again but, unlike Lashley, he returned to wrestling with more box office appeal and ability than he had before.

Lesnar is a prime example of a wrestler who has been booked to suit his size. Indeed, such is the dominance of Lesnar's booking that it's surprising to see that he isn't even one of the top five wrestlers on Raw in terms of physical heft. WWE treats the Beast Incarnate as a classic big man, cast as unbeatable, and that has only increased his value as a box office attraction.
