Speaking of Jake Strong, he quickly forged a connection with the Believers, earning monster cheers within a few brief appearances. Looking like an absolute giant amongst the smaller luchadors favored by the promotion, Strong's power moves and technical ground game gave him instant credibility as a competitor.

Anointing himself as another Breaker of Bones by snapping into Famous B's ankle like a Slim Jim, Strong later added the ankles of Big Bad Steve and Sammy Guevara to the mix, all to thunderous reactions for the crowd.

Quite frankly, that's a surprise in and of itself. Lucha Underground managed in a few weeks to accomplish what WWE failed to do for years: it made Jack Swagger a superstar.
