The award for best pre-match video package for SummerSlam goes to this showdown between Neville & Stephen Amell vs. Stardust & King Barrett. The comic book inspired twist that's helped build this rivalry has helped these guys stand apart from the rest of the card.

There was cautious optimism for Amell going into this match and it seemed like he delivered as well as he could have. Instead of a few brief moments, he actually spent a good bit of time in the ring. He mainly sold the moves of the heel team but was able to fit in a few well executed moves along the way, including an enziguri against Stardust.

Amell also took a risk as he performed a cross body off the top ropes to the outside, which he hit with good form. Neville also looked good, getting in his usually impressive offense. A Red Arrow against King Barrett was enough for a win for this makeshift superhero tag team.

Stephen Amell performed well. Hopefully he becomes a celebrity that pops up fairly regularly. With whatever star power he brings, WWE can continue to build his matches as special attractions for big shows like this.
