Playing off the love interests of anything in a tight skirt might not work out in the long run for WWE's Showoff, but at Night of Champions, it all worked out for victory for Dolph Ziggler.

This match was pretty standard. The first half was a lot of Ziggler selling to Rusev's mighty offense, but then began more of a trade off of big moves for the second half or so.

Summer Rae was on the apron complaining at the end of this when she took a hard fall into the ring. The ref tried to eject her and she threw a tantrum in response, and also her shoes. One of those shoes uninentionally hit Rusev in the face and directly lead to his loss. 

Summer Rae might be more of a loser on this night, but she can keep her chin up. She was wearing the earrings that she received from the match winner, Dolph Ziggler. As long as she didn't pay too close attention to the fact that Lana's face was on the front of Ziggler's pants then she can still choose to be smitten if she wants.
