Now that AJ Lee's record has been broken, that title is finally ready to change hands. At Night of Champions, Charlotte was the wrestler to defeat Nikki Bella for her Diva's Championship.
This was one of the more simple wrestling matches of the night, and I mean that in a good way. Charlotte's finisher is the Figure 8, so Nikki brutally targeted her legs throughout the entire match. The psychology worked.
Charlotte had an opening to win when Nikki dove off of the second ropes and got speared by the former NXT Women's Champ. This set up the Figure 8, which Nikki tapped out to.
There was a post-match celebration for Charlotte with her PCB buddies as well as her dad, Ric Flair. The next step in the Diva's Revolution is finally ready to take place.
