7. Shawn Michaels (7 Wins)

Though a successful team captain at the show in the latter part of his career and in the bonkers and beloved Wild Card match in 1995, 'Mr Wrestlemania' actually can also stake a claim for the crown at the Survivor Series, through wins by his teams in 88 & 89, an absorbing comeback World Title win in 2002, and a hard-to-forget WWF Title win in 1997.

Unusually for HBK, it actually feels remiss to not mention some of his losses as well as the victories that have made him a Top 10'er. At Survivor Series, Shawn Michaels has somehow looked more epic in defeat, suffering losses in scintillating spectacles such as his match with Bret Hart in 92, the dissolution of his partnerships with Marty Jannetty and Diesel in '91 and '94 respectively, and a choice Triple Threat WWE Title tucked away in 2009 with John Cena and DX brethren Triple H.

In fact, despite all these moments and title near misses, it could be argued his finest November night came in 2003, when he rolled back the years in a mammoth performance for Team Austin, going eleven bloody and battered minutes reducing a 3-on-1 advantage before succumbing to outside interference and defeat to Randy Orton.

Though not as profiled as some of his other career highlights, Michaels' Survivor Series legacy remains a powerful reminder of just why he was the Showstopper.
