A roaring success in the modern era at the show, Cena has stacked up some impressive wins in Title contests as well as part of several unique teams, often as captain and regularly as a survivor himself.

His group dethroned The Authority in 2014, his dream pairing with The Rock yielded a victory in 2011, and his wins have often come in league with some of the decade's finest performers, as he would share survival glory with luminaries such as Eddie Guerrero, Big Show and Bobby Lashley.

As the company's most reliable main eventer AND titleholder of the past eleven years, he's no stranger to defending the gold at the Survivor Series, turning back challengers Kurt Angle, Triple H and Shawn Michaels and claiming his first WWE World Title in a hometown comeback against Chris Jericho in 2008.

Finally, 2003's show marked a significant moment for John Cena, as his drafting to the babyface team by Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle marked a huge acknowledgment that he was the next star in waiting among some of the young lions making waves across both Raw and Smackdown at the time.

Opening the show with a hard-edged rap aimed at Brock Lesnar's team of heels, Cena tore the roof off with his promo and delivered his visually stunning FU to the Big Show. A fully fledged babyface by the end of the match, this was Cena's first launchpad to the platform we would become accustomed to.
