Hulk Hogan's surprise win over Triple H from Backlash 2002 almost made it into this slot. Watching the returning 'Hulkster' sweep WWE into a wave of nostalgia was one thing, but the everlasting visual of Hogan going up against Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III is on another level entirely.

In the midst of his glory years as WWF Champion, seeing Hogan battle Andre in 1987 is a powerful image WWE have relied upon many times to sell the grandeur of WrestleMania. There's a reason for that: this was the peak of the 'Hulkamania' era in WWE.

The match wasn't anything must-see from bell-to-bell, but the sheer atmosphere and electricity between Hulk and Andre contributed towards making this Hogan's most memorable win.

By his own admission, a crafty Hulk didn't want eyes on The Ultimate Warrior after dropping the WWF Title to him at WrestleMania VI. That's precisely why Hogan re-entered the ring to hand the belt to Warrior himself.

At the same time, the man who had carried Vince McMahon's empire for so many years must have been despondent; this was McMahon's way of 'passing the torch' from Hogan to Warrior, and although it wouldn't pan out in the long run, 'Mania VI was supposed to put Hulk out to pasture as the WWF's top guy.

The legion of Hogan fans would have felt that just as much as Hulk did.
