In 2011, execs brought Johnson in to help revitalize the Fast & Furious franchise and not only did Rock help it, he made it into one of the biggest money making franchises on the planet. Earlier this year, Furious 7 was released and smashed box office records across the world. Behind James Camerons hits Avatar and Titanic, Furious 7 is the biggest grossing movie in history at the box office with over $1.5 billion in global ticket sales.
The Great One might make sporadic returns to the WWE to interact with fans and have some fun on live TV but at the end of the day, he has to get back to his day job, being the King of the Box Office.
