Brock Lesnar made John Cena his unadulterated b*tch at SummerSlam 2014, making the leader of the Cenation look weaker than any other man had done before, or since for that matter. There were calls for referee Charles Robinson to stop the damn match for crying out loud.

Coming in hot off a win over Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania XXX, Cena still had that air on invincibility about him, although, nothing compared the the air of invincibility that Brock had after ending The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak at the same event.
In hindsight, there wasn't really anything else WWE could have done in this situation after that Streak ending win for Lesnar. But at the time, and after the then nine-year run Cena had had up until that point, it was nothing short of flabbergasting.
