So "Dashing" it was for Cody in 2010-2011, and from offering grooming tips to protecting his face, (and having a mirror on the back of his ring jacket) he played the role perfectly. "Dashing" Cody received a broken nose at the hands of Rey Mysterio in 2011 via Mysterio's knee brace, causing Rhodes to wear a face mask for a few months, during said time Rhodes also put paper bags on the faces of fans, too. By the end of 2011, he had slowly evolved away from that gimmick, and became a more serious contender for both the Tag Team and Intercontinental Championships.
