10 Biggest WWE NXT Failures

10. Oliver Grey

When Oliver Grey arrived on NXT, he seemed to be the sort of wrestler WWE love. Young, athletic and incredibly well-put together, Grey seemed like the total package. Not long after he debuted he began teaming with current the current NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, and they entered a tournament to crown the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions. Together, Neville and Grey defeated 3MB, Leo Kruger & Kassius Ohno and The Wyatt Family to become inaugural champions. Almost immediately after winning the Tag Team Championships, Grey was injured, suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and was written off television. He was replaced in the tag team with Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville went on to become the NXT Champion, and NXT moved along without him. Oliver Grey returned over a year later, losing his first match back to Camacho. He had one more match, a battle royal in which he was the first eliminated, before he was released in April of this year. It€™s a shame that Grey never really got his chance in NXT, because they obviously saw something in him at one point. He currently wrestles on the British independent scene alongside Martin Stone (another cut NXT star) as the tag team €œEngland€™s Calling€.
