10 Biggest WWE Plot Holes
1. Who Raised That Briefcase?
Many WWE storylines have fizzled out without a clear resolution, but normally they are ones at the very bottom of the card. Nobody (apart from us) really cared about Booker T's note, which meant that writers could discreetly brush it under the carpet.
This one, however, is a little different. The Stone Cold versus Vince McMahon storyline defined the entire Attitude Era. Seldom did an episode of Monday Night Raw pass in the late '90s without the pair squaring off in a promo.
It's baffling, therefore, that they never thought to properly spell out exactly who moved the briefcase just ever-so-slightly out of the reach of Austin when he fought the chairman and his son in a winner-takes-all Ladder Match at King of the Ring 1999.
We're pretty sure it was Big Boss Man, but the reveal was never officially made in front of the cameras, which means the Texas Rattlesnake hasn't yet had the opportunity to hash it out with whomever it was in the ring.
