Towards the backend of last year, the one-time Max Dupri began letting everybody know exactly whose game it was.

Despite managing to walk out of his Bray Wyatt feud in a better position than he was going into it, though, LA Knight still couldn't find his way onto a WrestleMania going down in that very place.

But rather than let that disappointing lack of 'Show of Shows' appearance demoralise him, this undeniable one-time Million Dollar Champion simply kept showing up, showing off, and lighting up just about every arena he marched into.

What came next was a movement so powerful, WWE risked a full-blown riot if they opted to leave Knight off a SmackDown or out of this year's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Press conferences were derailed by cries of "YEAAAH!" and "LA KNIGHT!", social media superstars were overshadowed by a real 'Megastar', and this Knight rode his way right to the top of the merchandise charts, too.

A year ago, his former boss was questioning whether the company could get behind a 40-year-old as a new singles star. Now the fan-favourite motormouth is picking up Slim Jim wins, popping up on talk shows, and eliciting the biggest cheers of the night.

You really do love to see it. YEEEEEAH!
