Journalists are supposed to uphold certain standards. Sure, a bit of subjectivity is unavoidable, but most of us prefer to get our news from sources maintaining at least some pretence of objectivity. Right?! WWE, on the other hand, wouldn't know objectivity if it stomped a mudhole through Vince McMahon's office and walked it dry. 50/50 booking, meet 50/50 broadcasting.

From almost its inception, WWE programming has taught viewers to accept the notion of a two-man booth where one commentator cheers for the babyfaces and the other shamelessly supports the heels. Long may it last, and long may it be so.

And as showcased by the considerable skill of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon or Jerry "The King Lawler" and Jim Ross, it's no wonder the WWE Universe has grown to accept biased broadcasting as the gold standard. Who cares about calling the action right down the middle when the end result is this hilarious?

While no other sport on the planet could get away with this kind of blatant prejudice, entire generations of WWE fans have never experienced anything different. Higher power, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
