10 Bizarro Commercials Featuring Wrestlers

8. Hulk Hogan - RadioShack

Hulk Hogan HPhone
WWE

The most successful advertisement on this list opens with two cashiers receiving a call in a rundown RadioShack store. Mocking the dated retailer (and their boom period), the caller cautions "the ‘80s called. They want their store back."

RadioShack's remodelling is unconventional as a swarm of ‘80s icons tear the place apart soundtracked by Loverboy's Working For The Weekend. Surprisingly 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan is overshadowed by his fellow '80s mainstays, which included the likes of Dee Synder, Jason Voorhees, Teen Wolf, and Alf. There is even a brief glimpse of Sgt. Slaughter raiding the store. The mass of icons together is like an '80s themed convention that nobody could imagine in their wildest fan booking, with TV, horror, heavy metal, and singing raisins coming together for a common cause.

The advert functions as a Where's Wally/Waldo? where viewers can try to pick out the '80s icons crammed into 30 seconds, including the DeLorean that transports their loot there are 16). It makes us wonder just how successful a stable of Dee Synder, Teen Wolf, and Jason Voorhees would be in Hogan's world...
