10 Bloodiest Wrestlers In WWE History

Be prepared to see a hell of a lot of blood!

Bleeding is a lost art-form in the WWE. The company stopped wrestlers from 'blading' in July 2008, amid a move to PG television and increasing health concerns. You'll either sit in one of two camps on this. On the one hand, you might commend WWE for putting health over everything else. People who subscribe to this belief will say that 'blading' was an antiquated and barbaric practice. The health concern is obvious, a person cutting a razor blade over the forehead and losing a flow of blood is dangerous. It leaves risk of infection open and the loss of blood can damage the body. You also have blood transmitted diseases that you have to consider. However, there is also the other point of view. Some fans will point out that bleeding was a big part of wrestling tradition, which for the most part was practiced safely. Take a look at someone like Steve Austin, is his forehead full of scars? Consider also the number of actual blood related problems WWE had - was it really that many? No. For the most part, blading was carried out without any major incidents or damage. What it did do was contribute tremendously to the WWE product, offering levels of drama that just can't be replicated in the PG era. 'Getting colour' is a big miss in this regard. Some men were masters of the blade job. They knew exactly where to cut and gushed in a way that made them WWE's most memorable bleeders. In this list we'll look at the wrestlers who mastered the bleeding art-form. For some, it was just a case of natural luck. Blood is darker and pours differently for every person. Many wrestlers found themselves unable to match the bloody magnificence of the following ten men.
