10 Bold Predictions For WWE In 2018

6. The Undertaker Returns

Undertaker has been gradually retiring at WrestleMania for the better part of a decade now, so why on earth should this year's effort against Roman Reigns be any more permanent than the other nearly-moments?

Well, the glacially botched Tombstone reversal sequence should the answer to that question, but neither the concussion he suffered against Brock Lesnar nor the one we all felt vicariously watching the Bray Wyatt match in 2015 did the job, so why should that?

'Taker's even done the disrobing trick twice. He left his gloves behind having soaked them in the sweat of Shane McMahon during their abysmal WrestleMania 32 Hell In A Cell clash, but added his hat and coat to the pile following the WrestleMania 33 loss. For all anybody knew, that was merely the wont of an old fella trudging round Orlando in April. Even Vince McMahon had a go at Hawaiian shirts for a bit in the summer of 2003, the heat can be oppressive sometimes.

A return in 2018 would probably be welcomed by the New Orleans Superdome crowd until his latest defeat resulted in him going all 1996 Shawn Michaels and threatening to chuck his kecks into the crowd just to symbolically and literally leave something else behind. It may seem as though there's no business left unfinished for 'The Deadman', but his hasn't stopped his storyline brother sh*tting up Monday Night Raw since October. With similarly unflattering results, he'll cometh again too.
