10 BOLD Predictions For WWE In 2020

1. Ronda Rousey Will Return To Headline WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey left WWE after WrestleMania with the intention of starting a family.

We know nothing of Ronda's personal life nor her motivations, but at the eve of WrestleMania season, WWE's writing, because it has to, becomes that bit more sophisticated and long-term in its vision. Recently, Becky Lynch has spoken of a "debt to collect". She appears to be alluding, on the surface, to the victory Asuka holds over from the 2019 Royal Rumble - but this is a red herring.

She promised, at various points throughout the build to WrestleMania 35, to rip Ronda Rousey's arm off. She almost did, in storylines, on the snake-bit go-home Survivor Series show. This was the big Moment TM designed to get Becky over as the biggest star in the company. It did not happen: Lynch caught Rousey with a botched backslide for an underwhelming three count. This left room for a sequel, and realistically, beyond Shayna Baszler, there are no other opponents worthy enough of the biggest stage - and if Baszler was under consideration for the role, she might not be now, after bombing at Survivor Series.

Ronda will return, for a one-shot, and lose via Disarm Her.
