10 Bold Wrestling Predictions For 2022

7. WWE Straps Up Bron Breakker On His Main Roster Debut

Think about the depth of the RAW and SmackDown rosters.

It is minimal. The average complexion of the main roster makes for sobering reading; essentially, it's a group of 40 year-olds that you've watched for several years on top and nae f*cker underneath, since Vince McMahon retconned NXT out of existence. Think also about potential realistic Royal Rumble winners. WWE low-key has nothing. Maybe 2022 will be Cesaro's year!

And maybe, just maybe, the cartoon anime girl you're in love with will come to life!

The women's scene meanwhile is a disgrace infested with sub-Divas division booking. The days of bringing along the Four Horsewomen are dead, buried, pissed on and danced on.

WWE going with Bron Breakker is going to happen at some point. This isn't a bold, hot take, necessarily - but that point is happening very suddenly, and very desperately. Bron isn't one "for the future". Well he is, having only worked about a dozen matches, but WWE has so few options. Breakker will become WWE Champion on his main roster debut in a transformative if empty booking gesture. He won't win the Rumble in a shocker.

He'll win the big one on day one.
