10 Booking Decisions AEW Should Make Before Double Or Nothing 2023

5. Separate ROH A Little More

In theory, putting the ROH World Title on Chris Jericho does elevate AEW's sister company and make it seem like a bigger deal. That won't please the purists who thought Claudio Castagnoli's reign was far too short, but it's easy to see why All Elite made the switch.

Now, they must go further with this brand development.

Currently, ROH is leeching off AEW something fierce. In fact, scratch that - Ring Of Honor is trying to suck the life out of Rampage by turning that Friday night show into an Honor-heavy 60 minutes. So, why not just turn it into ROH Rampage then, or something like that?

One thing's clear: Tony Khan has to start separating ROH from the core AEW product more than he has been since acquiring the company. It's messy to have Honor announcers drop in for a match here or there, and the promotion's belts add even more gold to an already-bursting lineup.
