10 Booking Decisions AEW Should Make Before Double Or Nothing 2023

4. Put The ROH Belt On Bryan Danielson

Long-term, AEW's plan will surely involve Bryan Danielson dethroning Jericho to grab a belt he hasn't put hands on since losing it to Homicide at Final Battle on 23 December 2006. Wrestling for titles like that ROH World Championship is exactly why Bryan decided to leave WWE behind in the first place.

He craves competitive, hard-fought wrestling matches.

If Chris Jericho is a placeholder who's only there to put some new eyes on the brand temporarily, then Danielson should be viewed as the permanent replacement who'll keep star power strong whilst working bouts anyone else could only dream of. This is his chance to work with all of those young names he wanted to.

Imagine seeing the 'American Dragon' front a new ROH weekly TV show. Danielson's pride would leap off your telly, 'cause he has so much love and respect for that Honor brand. This is a lay-up that TK simply can't miss.
