Vince typically liked waiting until after WrestleMania was out the way to start introducing fresh faces to his main roster. That meant 'night after' debuts on Raw for some of the NXT crew, but WWE's success rate for this has always been up and down. So, maybe Triple H can do things a bit differently in 2023.

NXT workers have guested in the Rumble match before, but they've always been roundly recognised as creative just putting feelers out there to gauge audience reaction. In January, it'd be cool if the Rumble was a launching point for someone like Bron Breakker or Carmelo Hayes full time.

It's time for those boys to move on from developmental anyway.

Breakker retained his NXT Title against Apollo Crews at Deadline, but that doesn't mean he'll be champ by the time the Rumble rolls around. Hayes has also been overdue for a call-up himself, and 'Mania season could be the ideal time to make that happen.
