8. Build A Challenger For GUNTHER
GUNTHER has been built up as an unstoppable monster since appearing on SmackDown last year, which has been developed further now that Imperium has reunited to rally around the dominant Austrian. His Intercontinental Championship reign has been sensational thus far, with his series against Sheamus being some of the best in-ring work WWE has produced in years.
The focus on the midcard title has been amplified by just how well the former WALTER has done on the main roster when many fans feared for his career after changing his name and having to perform in Vince McMahon's WWE. The former NXT UK Champion has proved beyond doubt that he can be a major television star and is thriving under Triple H's booking.
Whoever defeats GUNTHER for the IC Title will be minted as a star, as even Sheamus has been unable to dethrone the 'Ring General' despite going to war with him on a number of occasions. While it would be nice for the Irish superstar to finally topple his foe, having the aforementioned Bron Breakker win the title at WrestleMania would be a nice way to conclude what has been an excellent title reign for GUNTHER.
