10 Booking Directions Heading Into WWE SummerSlam 2017
9. Brand Wars
There are murmurs that another "superstar shake-up" could be on the horizon, which is perhaps a sign that WWE is beginning to run thin on fresh feuds (even though they held a draft just a couple of months back).
Could this open up the door for an inter-promotional angle of some kind heading into SummerSlam?
Given the lack of obvious opponents for Neville from within the Raw ranks, we could perhaps see the Cruiserweight Champion field a challenge from someone over on Tuesday nights.
And it could equally be an opportunity to advance the Jason Jordan/Kurt Angle storyline, should the Raw general manager need to appoint a surrogate to represent his show in a "brand supremacy" bout (perhaps Angle could be accused of nepotism, in an affront to the normally meritocratic nature of wrestling).
