10 Booking Steps AEW Must Make Following Double Or Nothing 2021

9. Keep Kenny Omega Vs. Jungle Boy Going

Kenny Omega
AEW

Let's presume one of two things goes down on 11 June; Kenny Omega retains the World Championship over Jungle Boy via nefarious means (Good Brothers interference, Don Callis involvement, etc), or the match ends in a no contest, time limit draw, double count-out, what have you.

Either way, at least two matches between the duo sounds far more tantalising than just the one. Save that second one for the aforementioned first 'supercard' event.

Omega vs. 'Jungle Jack' is no doubt going to be a hoot, but there's money to be made by building an entire summer arc around the duo. Jungle Boy is the perfect babyface to use in such a role because the fans legitimately adore him. You need only listen to their rendition of his cracking entrance music from the Casino Battle Royale to find evidence.

By positioning the Jurassic Express man as a World Championship-calibre talent, you're planting the seeds for when he inevitably lifts the title in a few years' time. That pop will be insane. Let him come close to winning it off of 'The Best Bout Machine' for the fan reaction alone.
