It would appear that All Elite Wrestling's long-rumoured Trios Titles are officially in the works.

Speaking during yesterday's pre-Winter Is Coming media conference call, company president Tony Khan said that there has definitely been talk of introducing the new belts, though it won't happen in 2020.

Khan added the following:-

"If it happens, it will likely be in 2021. I've been seriously thinking about it. There's a lot of momentum for it and we have a lot of great trios teams. I'd like to get through 2020, to Beach Break, and moving towards Revolution, but it's definitely on my agenda, and it's something I've been talking about for a long time."

Trios Titles have been mentioned several times since AEW's inception. It felt like they were moving closer to reality earlier this year, when PAC formed Death Triangle with Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero M, though the onset of the ongoing global health crisis put that group on ice.

Now, Death Triangle are back, rubbing shoulders with a swathe of potential trios teams including Jurassic Express, SoCal Uncensored, Eddie Kingston's Family, Team Taz, and more.
