10 Booking Steps For AJ Lee Vs Stephanie McMahon At WrestleMania 31

3. Stephanie Abuses Her Power, Making Life Difficult for AJ

For the go-home week leading up to WrestleMania, Stephanie abuses her power as much as possible, making AJ Lee wrestle in gauntlet matches, being put in terrible match types (like having one arm tied behind her back, blindfold, or in a Lumberjill match with the women surrounding the ring being those closest to Stephanie, and no allies for AJ Lee), and having her wrestle throughout the week, i.e. on RAW, SmackDown, Superstars, and anywhere else she can. The idea behind this would be for AJ Lee to be determined to face Stephanie no matter how many times she wins or loses, and that AJ would eventually get her hands on Stephanie on the biggest stage of them all. Meanwhile, Stephanie would cut promos and show videos of how in-shape she is, how much taller and more physically-gifted she is, and in general how she€™s superior to AJ Lee in every way. This narrative would lead to a kind of David vs. Goliath kind of encounter, with AJ appearing to be disadvantaged, no matter how much she keeps fighting.
