On the go home show for Mania, Daniel Bryan would return to cut a promo on Brock Lesnar. Bryan would say that all his doctors have warned him against competing again, and that the Rumble itself was a massive risk. He would assure his doctors, Brie, and everyone else who cares about him that, if he can't beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan will retire from Pro Wrestling. On one condition of course. That is, that Brock Lesnar make the same promise. If Brock can't beat Bryan, Lesnar not only leaves the company, but he never ever comes back. It's widely thought that Brock Lesnar's WWE contract expires after Mania, and that he'll be heading back into the world of MMA, so it seems like a reasonable stipulation to add. Of course, with a draw like Lesnar, it may mean that somewhere down the years, the WWE has to renege on the stipulation and allow Lesnar to wrestle again. Then again, it seems the company thinks the fans have a poor memory anyway. So that's one way in which WWE could book Bryan back to the top of the mountain, and avoid prematurely rushing the young rough diamond of Roman Reigns into the spotlight before he's ready.
