10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw

7. John Cena Gets US Title Rematch

One major question heading into Night Of Champions is exactly what WWE will do with double champion Seth Rollins. As the reigning WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion, Rollins has it all to lose on the Pay-Per-View. Not only will he defend the top belt against Sting, he also has to face the man he beat for the US strap, John Cena. Going by the assumption that Rollins manages to defend both his belts, it makes sense to presume that he'll do so in a cheap fashion. Seth has already beaten Cena at SummerSlam - with the help of Jon Stewart - so perhaps there will be more shenanigans at Night Of Champions. WWE have shown that they like to have repeat matches the night after PPV shows too, which is where this entry comes in. There's a chance that Seth Rollins vs. John Cena could be booked again if Rollins emerges from Sunday night with his US Title intact. It seems unlikely that creative would want to have yet another United States Title bout between the pair on Pay-Per-View after Night Of Champions, so Raw could be the best bet.
