10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 12)
10. Figure Out Whether Or Not The Authority Are Heels
The very nature of 'The Authority' makes them obvious heels in WWE. Sure, both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are unique characters, ones who have been around for a long time, but that doesn't give them any old excuse to flip-flop whenever creative feel like it. Normally, Stephanie is a snide, ruthless authority figure, but that wasn't the case on Raw. In fact, it hasn't always been the case recently in general. From dancing with The New Day, to being penned as people who foolishly disregard the pleas of Seth Rollins, The Authority haven't exactly been the strongest of heels. On this past week's show, Steph herself played to the Boston crowd and came across as a babyface. Later in the show, she then acted like a heel around The New Day. This kind of booking is confusing, so WWE should endeavour to clear things up on Raw. It's high time Stephanie and Triple H actually stopped being booked like idiots blind to the plight of their 'crown jewel', Rollins. The Authority either have to be crowd-pleasing good guys or malicious, arrogant heels. They can't be both, it's not working out all that well.
